second generation of manufacturing plants in China and India, thereby increasing its production capacity
all the more. At the same time, it also achieved qualitative growth by successfully generating sales of its
strategic model targeting the European market. Not to mention the soon-to-be-finished Russian plant
which will secure a foothold for the East European market and serve as a production base that, along
with those in Turkey and the Czech Republic, will complete Hyundai Motor’s global manufacturing network.
In spite of the continuing worries caused by the current state of the worldwide economy, Hyundai Motor
