design

With its elegant, yet sporty image portraying the
sensual exterior designs in the European style,
ix20 was created to appeal to the senses of
owners who seek distinctive characteristics from
the existing MPV.
Especially, the character lines of the vehicle
surface and the sensible finishes of the elaborate
details that clearly portray the Hyundai Motors'
designing concept of 'fluidic sculpture' will reach
the hearts of target customers considering a
sophisticate urban MPV around the world.

Head lamp
Head lamp with a high-tech image adopted to enable outstanding projecting capacity and high-tech exterior design.
Rear lamp
Dynamic, yet beautiful exterior design enabled through the application of rear combination lamp was refined following the sleek shape of the rear exterior.
Outside Mirrors
Aerodynamically sculpted outside mirror features an electric-heating and folding, while LED light-guided side repeater adds luxurious finish.

Fog lamp
Stylishly integrated into the bumper for an especially sporty appearance.

ix20's interior space that was created based on the
'modern & dynamic' design concept brings out the
European refined quality, while the major interface
spaces such as the crash pad, centre fascia and
centre console pursued structural beauty, and maxi
ised luxurious appearance and functionality through
materials and trimming details.

Fixed dimensions. Endless room to enjoy The ix20 offers comfortable fabric upholstery, a combination of leather and fabric, or pure sumptuous leather with double stitching in contrasting colour. Whatever style you prefer, all seats provide the right balance between support and comfort for any length of journey.
Seat function You can maximise your storage area with the two-step standard flexible floor. Simply adjust its height to carry more items above or below the luggage floor. There’s also a luggage under tray which keeps your belongings safely stored beneath the flat luggage surface. To secure your load, a luggage net and hooks are also available.
Centre fascia The centre fascia which boasts unique, three-dimensional designs and high-tech image was created with a high glossy material that offers the luxurious finish.

Cooling function
Keeps your drinks cool: the glove box with optional cooling function.
Rear headrest
Adjustable for passenger’s comfort, and removable for the driver’s better visibility.

Or opt for the 1.4ℓ diesel engine with a choice of 77 PS or 90 PS. All diesel engines feature the latest Common Rail Disel (CRD) technology. Electronic Stability Control(ESC)
ESC helps control your vehicle when necessary. The system applies braking power automatically to individual wheels to counter oversteer or understeer. Engine power is also adjusted until control is regained. ESC is combined with HAC.
Hill Start Assist Control(HAC)
HAC is a handy feature for starts on steep hills. The system allows you to get ahead without rolling backward. HAC is combined with ESC.
Airbags
Surrounded by the best: to reduce injury in a collision, the ix20 has two front airbags which deploy at reduced force, as well as two side airbags and two curtain airbags in the first and second seat rows.

Active headrests
During a rear-end collision, the front active headrests move forward and up to minimise head and neck injuries.
Safety power windows
The convenient power windows feature a clever safety function. If they sense an obstacle, the windows automatically stop when closing.

Supervision cluster
The cluster which further improved the luxurious appearance by adopting the tip-to-tail illuminated pointers and acrylic material that allows the visible ray’s penetration ratio of 44%, maximises the convenience of the driver by displaying various relevant information on the do matrix type LCD screen in the centre.
Rear parking assist system
Parking and reversing have never been easier with computer processors tied to the ix20’s sonar warning system. A backup camera works with four sensors located on the bumper to alert drivers to obstacles, allowing the vehicle to sound warnings and essentially provide the driver with parking information.
Air conditioning
To keep everyone on board cool, you can choose between manual air conditioning and full-automatic air conditioning, which adjusts to maintain your set temperature.
Navigation system
To make sure you get to your destination swiftly and comfortably, the ix20 can be fitted with a 6.5" full map touch-screen navigation system. Specify the address with the intelligent typewriter and find routes across Europe. The optional integrated back.

Steering remote control
Keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. Simply adjust the audio system volume, make or receive calls, access the trip computer or set the Cruise Control via the steering wheel buttons.
Button start & smart key
Button start and smart key igniting the engine has never been easier. After unlocking the door using the smart key and door handle button, just push the start button and press on the brake.
Audio system

Bluetooth
Should you need to get in touch with friends or family en route, optional hands-free Bluetooth lets you make phone calls without taking your eyes off the road.
