HTRAC is an electronic all-wheel drive system that makes it possible to allocate freely the distribution of traction between the front and rear wheels of the vehicle depending on driving conditions. It provides dynamism and stability to enhance the pleasure of driving or to help maneuver out of difficult road conditions.

DISTRIBUTION IN CAR BODY

Hyundai Motor has achieved 51.2 : 48.8 front-to-rear weight distribution, an ideal yet extremely difficult to
achieve ratio, ensuring exceptional drivability. The wheelbase was extended with reduced overhang at both
the front and rear. However, the length of the front hood was increased to achieve a more dynamic profile.
High speed operation stability was also improved with improved aerodynamics. (Genesis G330 with panoramic sunroof)

NOISE, VIBRATION,
HARSHNESS (NVH)

Noise, Vibration, Harshness (NVH) measures range from the complete blockage of noise to the creation of new sounds that enhance driving pleasure. Moreover, it minimizes the penetration of engine noise and noise from the road by installing a bulkhead in the engine compartment and using effective soundproofing materials.

Active Noise
Control (ANC)

Active noise control (ANC) technology analyzes the noise level, frequency and phase noise with the noise detection sensor installed in the vehicle and emits another sound wave in antiphase through the noise cancellation speaker for an effective noise reduction.

Active Sound
Design (ASD)

Active sound design (ASD) effectively reproduces the engine sound by utilizing the built-in sound controller and provides a various selection of sound levels based on standard, sporty or silent driving modes to best suit the driver’s preference.

It has been just over two decades since Hyundai Motor introduced its first in-house developed engine, and already it is a leading engine maker. Hyundai Motor’s R&D effort has been focusing its R&D effort on creating engines which can achieve high efficiency during everyday use.

Since good performance characteristics are still important, Hyundai Motor is trying to strike the perfect balance between power and efficiency with special consideration to the environmental. We are committed to working towards better performance, higher efficiency and cleaner emissions.

    Introducing the improved version of the world-renowned V6 engine. Now a 3.8 GDi unit, it's as durable, fuel efficient and lightweight with minimum noise and vibration levels as you'd expect it to be, while also delivering more impressive low rpm torque (334 ps at 6,400 rpm and 40.3 kg·m at 5,100 rpm).

    Lightweight and reliable, this high-spec unit delivers a maximum 36.0 kg·m of torque at 1,350 ~ 4,000 rpm. Theta engine provides dynamic driving performance, with its 2.0 T-GDi gasoline engine taking you from 0 to 100 kph in 7.5 seconds.
