From biomechanics and cognitive engineering to psychology, we conduct diverse fundamental studies of humans to develop people-centred vehicles that provide the greatest convenience and comfort to everyone.
Package layout
Package layout refers to the series of engineering works required to efficiently structure and arrange various limiting conditions of key elements in terms of the overall vehicle. In sum, it is the process of providing designers with the basic requirements for styling and the technological detailing of the vehicle concept across the entire development process, from coming up with the design concept to mass production. We strive to optimise customer comfort and user convenience through optimised habitability, visibility, ease of entering/exiting the vehicle, ease of operations, ease of loading luggage, assembly operations and maintenance.
Ergonomics
Ergonomics is a science that studies the basic characteristics of human physical functions (physique and muscles) and cognitive functions (sensation and sensitivity), and uses the data to develop human-centred design principles for greater user convenience and comfort. Based on biomechanics, electromyogram, cognitive engineering, human-machine interface (HMI), sensitivity engineering, human behavioral studies and development of senior citizen-friendly cars, progress is continuing to provide users with enhanced comfort, safety and convenience.
