Hyundai Motor, a UEFA EUROTOP Partner, is sponsoring an online match-predictor game that lets fans win prizes by picking the outcome of tournament matches.
Fans can go to the UEFA EURO 2012™ Web site (www.uefa.com) and enter the “Fans Area,” where they can see the Hyundai Predictor. After they make their picks for each match, the Hyundai Predictor will record their progress as the tournament proceeds toward the final. Fans can share their pick for the tournament winner with their friends.
The tournament predictor grand prize champion will win a Sharp Aquos 3D TV, Team Hyundai jersey and ball signed by Team Hyundai members – five new-generation stars of UEFA EURO 2012™. Team Hyundai acts as brand ambassadors during the tournament and consists of Ӏker Casillas (Spaіn), Lukas Podоlskі (Germany), Rossi (Itаlу), Κаrim Benzema (Frаncе) and Daniel Sturridge (Εngland).
Prizes also are awarded for runner-up and third place, as well as for all Top 10 finishers and stage winners. Prizes include Team Hyundai balls, jerseys, caps and pins.
The online game launched on March 7 with the Tournament Predictor phase, where participants could predict the match outcomes.
The excitement escalated on May 29, when the Match Predictor phase kicked off, allowing fans to predict scores, total number of goals and correct scores.
Points are awarded for correct predictions. The lower the number of people who made correct predictions, the higher the points awarded to each participant.
